A couple months ago I looked at that little deviantArt tagline that told me I'd been a member for eight years. EIGHT YEARS. I've only really been into fanart consistently for a quarter of that, but of course I've been drawing for forever, before the internet was a twinkle in anyone's eye, almost. And I thought--if I had been practicing consistently for those eight years, instead of pissing and moaning about not being as good as someone else, or not having a style, or not being sure where emotion came in...at the very least I'd know I was as good as I should be.
